"Attic Hideaway"
Sierra's new thing is the attic. Yesterday when the electrician was working, we needed to go into the attic to troubleshoot a floodlight. Sierra was so excited. She claims she is "scared" of heights, but she's really pretty brave. We have one of those pull-down staircases (you know, like in National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation) and as she was climbing up, I could hear her whispering to herself "Don't look down, don't look down, don't look down." It was pretty cute. We had to go up 2 or 3 times while the electrician was there and then after he left, she couldn't wait to go back up again.
We also need to get back to Six Flags sometime soon to use our Season Passes - but until then, the county fair will have to suffice. I think I am going to take Sierra to the parade tonight and then the fair afterwards. One of her friends (from the family that bought Daisy) is in the parade, so she wants to see him throw candy and hopefully catch some herself. I remember last year she was terrified of going on the rides and I know this year she is excited. What a difference a year makes.
