Musique du Jour: Gomez - Getting Better
wow, it has been a long time since i've added an entry. sierra has officially turned 5 and we had a nice birthday party for her over the weekend - the kids seemed to enjoy themselves. we had a spongebob themed party and the game "pin the squarepants on spongebob" was a big hit. also had a spongebob pinata, which was pretty cool. they have pull string pinatas now, so they don't get ruined and nobody gets their eyes poked out, which of course was always the fun part for me as a kid, but now that i'm a parent i have different views on certain things. in a few more generations kids won't even know that pinatas used to be hit with a stick, just like they don't know what records are. the world is actually getting better in some respects, i guess. :-)
still unemployed and still not ready to go back. i'll start looking in the fall when sierra starts kindergarten....or when the money runs out....
