Line08: Whereas security is also very stereotypical, often checking
Line09: people who look like they are of Middle Eastern, Arab

Line12: safeguards preventing the airports from having security
Line13: checks that are invasive and/or stereotypical
Line14: thus promoting travel and the economy.

Line06: WHERAS: Federal welfare agencies only receive 43% of the
Line07: funds needed to adequately assist families in need; and
Line08: WHERAS: As of 2008, 20% of children living in the United

Line11: THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED BY THIS STUDENT CONGRESS
Line12: HERE ASSEMBLED THAT: The federal government should increase
Line13: federal funds to TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy
Line14: Families) by $120 million for the 2010 fiscal year, with $60
Line15: million of those funds coming from cuts in government pork

Line01: The current problem in the state of Virginia is that their
Line02: are not enough "green jobs" to help the state economy
Line03: and the state enviornment; Virginia clearly lacks the
Line04: advancements in the fields of making it a more enviornmenaly
Line05: friendly state; currently Virginia gets more than 50 percent
Line06: of its power from coal, if Virgina would talk advantage of
Line07: its green jobs opportunities it would boost the state
Line08: economy and preserve Virginia for generations to come; the
Line09: current unemployment rate in Virginia is 6.9 percent, that
Line10: could very easily change if Virginia would invest some of
Line11: the 70 billion dollors that the state has been granted for
Line12: efficiency and conservation; Virginia is equiped with the
Line13: materials such as: using natural energy wind, solar, off
Line14: shore oil, and people would be willing to occupy the
Line15: avaliable jobs; and so Virginia definatly needs to start
Line16: considering and creating "green jobs" for the state.
