Line05: Section 1: The Patriot Act invades the privacy of unknowing

Line07: Section 2: Tracking the Electronic Information of citizens
Line08: (e.g. emails, cell phone transmissions, Instant Messages) is
Line09: an invasion of privacy.
Line10: Section 3: Gathering Electronic Information without the
Line11: consent or acknowledgement of the individual is a violation
Line12: of the Fourth Amendment.
Line13: Section 4: The provisions of the Patriot Act gives
Line14: government employees and agencies the right to use gathered
Line15: Electronic Information to invade privacy, disrupt daily
Line16: routines, detain citizens for questioning, and file
Line17: judiciary action against unsuspecting citizens.
Line18: Section 5: No government employee or agency should be able
Line19: to gather intelligence without proper notification and/or a
Line20: warrant issued by a judge or judiciary agent.
Line21: THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THIS STUDENT CONGRESS, that any
Line22: provision of the Patriot Act that gathers or uses electronic
Line23: information taken without a warrant and notification of the
Line24: American citizen shall be stricken from the Patriot Act.

Line09: WHEREAS China made demands on world media markets
Line10: controlling their broadcasts and what was allowed to be
Line11: broadcast during the 2008 Summer Olympics;
Line12: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by this Student Congress that the
Line13: United States should encourage the United Nations and its
Line14: allies to put on the Chinese government to open talks with
Line15: Tibetan leaders moving towards restoring the independent
Line16: sovereignty of Tibet.
Line17: THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this Student Congress

Line19: and its allies to put pressure on the Chinese government to

Line01: WHEREAS both boys and girls at a young age are affected by

Line03: WHEREAS both boys and girls can receive treatment which can
Line04: prevent life-threatening cancers as a result of vaccination;
Line05: WHEREAS tests in both boys and girls have proved that to
Line06: take the vaccination/treatment for HPV substantially
Line07: decreases the risk of communicable transmission of the virus
Line08: WHEREAS the medical community has recommended vaccination
Line09: and treatment in girls since 2006 and in boys since 2009;
Line10: WHEREAS if the HPV virus is left unchecked then it outs an
Line11: undue burden on the nation's healthcare system when
Line12: preventive measures can be taken in both boys and girls;

Line13: WHEREAS the United States now has the opportunity to
Line14: participate in an open market with Cuba supplying vital
Line15: medicines and the ability to receive oil products from a
Line16: large deposit recently found in northern Cuba;
Line17: WHEREAS the United States has the opportunity to extend its
Line18: automobile market at great profit by exporting American-made
Line19: vehicles to Cuba and revitalize and antiquated industry
Line20: there;
Line21: WHEREAS to lift the embargo on Cuba would substantially
Line22: increase trade and help raise the United States out of its
Line23: economic recession;
Line24: BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS STUDENT CONGRESS that the trade
Line25: embargo against Cuba be lifted.
